Today was the kid's Christmas Party. Instead of celebrating as a squadron, we celebrated as a Wing. Basically, that means a lot more people and a lot more aircraft were available for the party. Many times we have watched Santa taxi up waving from a C-130. Today, Santa fast-roped in on a Pave Hawk helicopter. I think the adults were as excited as the kids! I know I was. I have been desperately trying to download the video and will continue trying. I think the pictures of us with Santa are great (posted below). Perhaps I should have waited to create my Christmas cards!! I can say with certainty that these kinds of days make me so proud that I am a military spouse!
Mattie's finger is better. We were able to see the wound today & it is smaller than we originally thought.
Felipe is hiding in a German beer stein. Personally, I think it is his best hiding place yet.
