Snow!

I slept with the blinds open and, as I got up with Caroline multiple times, I peered out looking for the promised snow. NOTHING.

Derick left around 6. "NOTHING," he announced and closed the blinds. Ughhh.

Wait, that's a snow flake! Lots of big, fluffy snowflakes...the kind that look just like pictures. It snowed a bunch, all morning. There was a little bit of accumulation, but the roads were just fine. Mattie went to the neighbor's on her scooter, bundled so tightly she could hardly move. The snowflakes swirled around us as Caroline and I drove to preschool. A perfect winter day. Now if I only had a fireplace...
