Kitchen Greetings

Here I stand at the kitchen counter trying to get work done while cooking. It is amazing how well one can multi task when required! If the chicken will ever get done in the crock pot, I can get on with supper. For now, I will get on with this blog.

Caroline went to the doc today. Of course, she acted better immediately after arriving in the waiting room. I think she rearranged all of the kiddie chairs there. Rapid strep was negative, sending one to lab. We will see. Not quite herself still. 

Snow is forecasted for tomorrow. I love the weather in ABQ, except that it doesn't snow quite as much as I wish. I hear that Kansas is coooooold and snowy, so I will let you know how that turns out! Kansas doesn't have these beautiful mountains though. I am going to miss ABQ so very much--rather odd for me. I am usually ready for the next move, but I am having trouble preparing to let go this time. It seems like there is so much we haven't done yet. (Snowboarding.) Even with all of the wonderful reviews I have received about Leavenworth (the post, not the prison), I just haven't gotten geared up. Maybe it is too early. Perhaps my wandering spirit doesn't show up until spring...kind of a moving fever if you will.

Felipe' Update: I found Felipe' this morning instead of the girls. He was sneaky, hiding down on a low shelf in the playroom instead of up high in his normal territory.
