On Sunday night, we attended a party at the home of a friend. Santa made a guest appearance and gave all of the kids gifts. Caroline would have nothing to do with Santa, of course, but Mattie posed for this picture very sweetly. That bruise on her head is from an incident with a chair.
On Saturday, we went to the New Mexico Bowl. We had tickets because the 58 Special Operations Wing did the fly-by again this year. Last year you may recall that Derick was one of the pilots. This year, he enjoyed watching from the stands. Mattie loved the football game. Yes, Caroline's lip is cracked. She has a tendency to pick at sores and this winter, it is her chapped lips. We keep Vaseline on it constantly, but to no avail.
Wednesday was parent's day at Caroline's dance studio. We enjoyed watching her dance. Especially to the song, "I Enjoy Being A Girl."
Tuesday was our snow day. There was enough snow for a few snow angels, a snowball fight and a rather small snowman. By the middle of the day, it was all melted. There is snow in the forecast several days this week, but it looks like rain for Christmas.
Caroline in her ballet outfit is pretty darn cute.
