I Could Get Used To This...

I am wallowing in not having a schedule-ness. When the girls were really little, I remember days like this that would drag on forever and ever. No schedule, no break from the boredom, no end in sight. Now that I only get 2 weeks during winter break to enjoy staying put, I am loving it. 

I have been sleeping in (translation: waking up around 7 or 7:30), staying home & dressing casually (to say the least). The girls have even joined in the spirit of not having to do anything.I think this is the first year in my memory that the girls have played with their Christmas gifts slowly and completely. Despite the fact that I miss being in Georgia for Christmas, this has really been a break for us.  Mattie has even asked, "Mom, am I missing school?" As in, are they having school without me? 

As I filled out my new calendar for January, I found myself astounded by all the things we cram into one week. I have only 6 more days until that schedule resumes. You better believe that I am going to enjoy EVERY minute of it!
