Today was a normal day...except that Nana is still here and we had milkshakes.
We enjoyed watching Caroline at dance class & we had a delicious lunch at my favorite restaurant: Coffee and Cheese Cafe. (Mom and Dad, we are going to eat here next month).
Then I ran every errand I could think of while Nana & Caroline played. I returned Christmas duplicates, humidifiers and the gown that was too big for Mattie. I finally found a humidifier that doesn't make an obnoxious noise (it is a frog, just like the girl's pig), and I bought a couple of birthday presents. I even went to the cleaners!!
But the highlight of the day--the five of us ate supper at Rt 66 Diner. The food was good, but the milkshakes were delicious. It is the little things in life that make a normal day special.
