I am so incredibly tired of dry skin, lips, nose, hair, furniture. I much prefer the actual feel of the dry air over humidity, but this winter I just could NOT stand it anymore.
The girls have a humidifier in their room, but I decided we needed more. At least one that I could carry from dining room to bedroom.
The first one I bought was incredibly loud. It whirred, rattled and, on occasion, banged. I quickly returned it to the store.
The next one I bought said on the side, "silent technology." WHATEVER. It doesn't whir & bang, but you can sure hear it running. Fine, I will just leave it running in the dining/room kitchen. The teak furniture is so dry it is beginning to crack.
I know that silent humidifiers exist, because the girl's have one. It is a pink pig and it makes absolutely no noise what-so-ever. So, I headed to Bed Bath & Beyond to see if they had any more pigs. Nope, but they did have a frog. SCORE. Derick & I now have a frog humidifier in our bedroom and I LOVE it. I promise you I wake up feeling like a different person.

Just got a cheap humidifier today. Hoping it will help my husband stop coughing all night! :)
