"Behaving At Breakfast"
Saturday morning we went to breakfast at IHOP. The girls were very welled behaved, even though it was a least 100 degrees in there--suffocatingly hot. An elderly lately was eating at the table next to us. When she got up to leave, she stopped at our table and said, "It is so nice to see kids behaving."
Derick & I both said thank you, but my mind was racing through all the times they HAVEN'T behaved at restaurants and wondering what people were thinking those times. Meanwhile, Derick is laughing at pointing at Caroline. Apparently, at about the time the lady complemented us, Caroline picked up two knives off the table and made the face featured in the photo above. Kids! I hope the lady didn't see.
Big weather change here today--snow on the mountains after a very warm morning. Finally, a little more winter weather.
We have spent the weekend packing for Disney and cleaning out closets in preparation for our move. I think one spurred the other as we are really having to dig to find our summer clothes. I can't wait for the Steed family to descend upon Disney with our pasty mountain legs. True tourons this time!
I am anticipating a week that flies! I am sure that we will be in Orlando in the blink of an eye.
Speaking as someone who bought jackets at Disney not once but twice (how dumb am I?!?), be sure and take one just in case. Even though it's Florida in February, I have been down there twice this time of year and had to buy something to stay warm. :) Hope you guys have an awesome time!

ReplyDeleteHave a great time.. and take a light weight jacket just in case.. I can't wait to see pictures.. Have fun and remember, if you don't see it all (and trust me you can't) you just have to go back again! Tell Mickey and the gang we will be there in June to get the party ready!
