We have found a church "home" and are all so excited that it went well again today (our second Sunday at this church). The girls are totally happy in their respective children's church and Sunday school classes, so D and I headed to adult SS after the church service. Despite a nervous entry to the class and the fear that we were way too young to participate, we found that it was a very comfortable fit. We even met another couple who came here from Leavenworth and have a 7-year-old daughter at Pinehurst Elementary (where our girls attend).
Also, Derick and I have purchased a new Tempurpedic mattress. We had an unusual attachment to our old mattress. In fact, many of your probably helped us buy it!! The DAY after our wedding, we went to the mattress store in Corpus Christi, Texas. Derick had our wedding gift money in his pocket and pulled out a wad of bills to pay cash for that first mattress. I will NEVER forget it as long as I live. Anyway, that once fabulous mattress had begun to sag in the middle and make my back hurt. All of this to say that I had a great nap this afternoon on our new mattress!
Oh, I almost forgot! Not to be outdone by her sister's broken arm, Mattie ran her pinkie toe into a column in our living room. The toe nail fell off today. Ewwwwwwwww! I took a picture, but I think I won't post it.
Enough. What will the next week hold??

SS= Sunday School. Not super sport or the dreaded SS of Nazi Germany.
