Tonight is meet your teacher night at the girl's new school. That means that summer is officially over. Man have we made the most of the last 3 months. Yes, the girls have been out of school almost 3 months to the day!!! And for the first time since Mattie was born, we have stayed up late and slept in, making it really seem like we've had a long vacation.
We started the summer with a long weekend in Ft Walton Beach with wonderful friends from our year in Prattville. Each family had a 3rd grade girl...
And three of the families had kindergarten/preschool girls, so it was a match made in heaven!
Finally, on June 15, Derick graduated from SAASS.
We moved out of our wonderful house in Prattville and moved to this beautiful home in Pinehurst, NC . . .
Cousins played an integral role in our summer fun. The girls had lots of fun with both their Pate cousins and Ramsey. They made great memories that will hopefully stick with them for life. (Where's Wilson?)
