Steed family tradition: go out for dessert the night before school starts. This year we chose The Ice Cream Parlor in Southern Pines. They had delicious flavors like the elusive Bubble Gum and the delicious Peanut Butter and Chocolate.

Last night we met the girls' teachers. Mattie will have Mr. Rogers and Caroline is in Ms. Wood's class. I believe that it will be a great year for both girls!
Isn't it funny how each girl chooses an outfit that perfectly reflects their personality?!
Wish us luck for a great first day - that alarm is going off very early tomorrow morning.
