Look!!

Our rogue tomato plant has produced a ripe tomato!!! I snapped this picture before I picked it. Derick has taken such care of these tomatoes, I am sorry he wasn't here to pick the first fruit. But I am excited we actually got 2 ripe tomatoes before the cold weather! Looks like we will have lots more soon.

Somehow the girls continue to defy all odds. They have yet to have a bad school picture. How is this possible when mine were all not-so-good? Aren't they beautiful?

This week was Mattie's first art lesson in Pinehurst. She is taking private lessons once a week with a lady who was a K-5 art teacher. They are going to be creating a cartoon based on us (hilarious already) and then Mattie will use different tools to work on the cartoon (for example, she used charcoal this past week).

Caroline had her first Pinehurst piano lesson and that seemed to go well. She seemed so happy to be back at playing.

After piano, we jet over to church for our Wednesday night meal, youth group and our adult program. I can already see that we will not want to leave this church when the time comes. Grandparents, the girls will be doing something at Sunday service every 3rd Sunday we think. This includes the Christmas program. Hint. Hint.

I'm off to watch more premieres. So happy to have local channels on the living room TV this year!!
