Aquarium Entrance
Ha--tricked you. We didn't go shopping for wedding shoes.
The weather is forecasted to take a drastic turn towards cooler temperatures and maybe a little precipitation starting tomorrow. So we decided to knock out one more place on our agenda. I figure we can go to Dillards in any kind of weather!
We started at the aquarium. Luck for us, we entered at the same time as a huge group of kids & their chaperone's. Before Mattie started school, we would go to these places on the most random of days & typically have most of the place to ourselves. I still can't get used to doing things at the exact same time as everyone else! Anyway, we saw lots of neat fish & managed to stay ahead of or slightly behind the huge group for most of the time. The eels were really putting on a show today, so we spent extra time watching them slither overhead.
The aquarium is pretty small, so we were ready for the gardens pretty soon. I think Caroline ran the entire time we were there. She had fun, especially in the kid's garden. That's where the really huge ants and vegetables are...see photos. At any rate, I am exhausted. We are having homemade pizza tonight & watching Madagascar 2. I haven't seen it, so I can't wait.
Also, last night I watched Twilight. D was flying & the girls were sleeping, so I grabbed the opportunity. I really liked it a lot, which is unusual for me after reading the book. I usually only like the book, not the movies. Anyway, I am wondering if I can watch it one more time before the 24-hour ticket on pay per view expires. Hmmmmmm....
Tomorrow is D's last ACSC test. Keep him in your thoughts!
More tomorrow...but not as exciting I'm sure :(
