Petting A Friendly Triceratops
Running From Stan, The T-Rex
No Explanation Needed...
It's official! Spring Break is underway. The girls and I have decided to celebrate spring with a whirlwind tour of all of our favorite ABQ places. It is only natural that we chose the Museum of Natural History (for the first two years we were here, Caroline said Mystery in place of History) first. We love this museum so much we bought a membership. Mattie and I even spent the night at this museum back in October in celebration of her birthday and Halloween. It is a special place.
Last night we decided that we go to the planetarium show, "Earth's Wild Ride." Caroline decided she didn't want to go. But the tickets were purchased. So we went anyway and she made it through about 15 minutes of the show before she totally freaked out. I think perhaps the planetarium makes her a little bit motion sick. So, I had to be the person (there's always one), who yelled, "LIGHTS!" during the middle of the show & out we went. I let Mattie stay for the remainder of the show & she seemed very happy to have managed it all alone...even when the scary dinosaur part happened.
As soon as Mattie was done with the show, we took off to visit the rest of the museum. We have been there many times, so we sped through and hit all of the girl's favorite hot spots. It was a great kick-off for this week, and a bit sad as we prepare to move.
