Mother's Day was almost perfect! We attended church and spent the rest of the day lounging around (well, I did anyway). We even made our way to Dairy Queen mid-afternoon for a round of ice-cream! I missed being with our mothers, but otherwise, a perfect day.

Spring dresses from Nana--we wore them anyway, even if it has been cold. (Lows in the 30's)!

Mattie's school hosted a carnival Friday night. Here's Mattie on the rock wall. Caroline had a turn, too, and both girls did a great job.

Friday morning we froze, um...went, to Red Barn Farm for a field trip with Caroline's class. It was very fun and we really enjoyed all of the baby animals. Here she is petting a baby chick.

Derick and Mattie went to a father-daughter Girl Scout camp out last weekend. Here is the gigantic dream catcher they made...

Mattie dressed as Lady Gaga for celebrity day at school...I thought she looked more like Cindy Lauper. Either way, Lady Gaga wishes she looked this good.

Caroline's class studied about Hawaii and ended the lesson with a luau. I love this mask and snorkel!!
