It's official! We no longer have a pre-schooler in our family. Part of me is very, very excited to be able to say that. And the other part of me wonders how on Earth she could possibly be closing in on age 6!? Caroline enjoyed a great year with a wonderful teacher and only 8 other students in her class. They are very close and they will miss each other a lot. Almost all of them are military kids.

Mattie's class has a "fun" spelling word list this week. Each child got to suggest a word for the list. On the list: flip flops, Sponge Bob and Hannah Montana. Also, photosynthesis--that was Mattie's word.
Her sister keeps up pretty well. Today she asked if she could watch a show. I said yes. She immediately went to our DVR list and chose an episode of "How Its Made." She can now tell you how pipes and mountain climbing gear are manufactured!
