Today was a very snowy day. For good measure, I included a picture of Derick shoveling the driveway. This picture was taken before lunch. I re-shoveled again late in the afternoon. The snow is (mostly) a lot of fun. We went sledding and Caroline plays in the snow as if she were at the beach playing in the sand.
The girls are getting a ride to the sledding hill in their one horse open sleigh...
Girl Scout World Thinking Day was yesterday. Mattie's troop hosted the event. Each participating troop chose a country and the girls learned about the culture of each country by attending different booths. It was fun, educational and yummy as each troop prepared a finger food using a recipe from the country. Mattie's troop chose Kuwait and in this picture, Mattie is teaching other Girl Scouts how to play a game that kids in Kuwait play.
Several weeks ago, the sun came out!! We decided to bundle up and head to Weston State Park for some afternoon exercise, sunshine and an overall change of scenery. Here are a couple of great pictures of the girls from that sunny January Sunday.
Of course, Mattie had to make a face...

Sweet faces on such sweet girls. I can honeslty say I DON"T MISS THAT SNOW! Glad you seem to have a good attitude about it all.
