Leprechauns

Go ahead, slap me on the hand. I have failed terribly at blogging this summer.

Mattie has moved into her own room and we enjoyed shopping for new bedding yesterday. She and Derick are buying bookshelves right now so that we can unpack the last of her boxes. We will then hang pictures and...wait for it...paint that ugly bedside table. The bedside table was ruined when Trooper was a puppy and knocked over candle oil on the top of it. Isn't Trooper 16? So wish me luck and more importantly, wish Derick luck. He is the clean up crew that comes in after I have started a project and managed to make a mess of it!

The girls are attending VBS on post W-F of this week. Today was the first day and they had a blast. Caroline was particularly anxious to tell us about the leprechauns who were sick with red spots and healed by Jesus. Obviously, she meant to say lepers, but leprechauns came out. Derick pointed out that leprechauns are a lot more fun than lepers anyway!
