Our friend from church invited the girls over to do some baking. They spent the afternoon on Saturday and came home with chicken pot pie, chocolate pie and apple pie! Mrs. Betty can invite them over ANY time!
We got the garden planted! We all participated, but only Derick and Caroline stuck it out until the last seed was planted. Now we are fighting off the slugs. ARGH...trying to keep it organic, but it's a hard fight.
And better even than the garden, Derick rented a storage unit and cleaned out the garage! I can now open the garage door without being totally embarrassed. LOVE IT.
