Fire Truck Ride!

We had an exciting morning today!! Caroline won a poster contest sponsored by the local fire department. She got to ride to school in a fire truck. WOW.

The firemen greeted us outside, knew her name and treated her like a princess. As you can tell by looking at the picture, she wasn't so sure about this guy.

Luckily, she decided to climb up into the fire truck and take her seat in the jump seat.

Shortly after I took this picture, she freaked. Lucky for me, because I got to ride with her!! We had so much fun. We giggled and waved out our window at all of the cars waiting at intersections.

Derick and Mattie met us at the school and videoed Caroline climbing out of the fire truck and having her picture made with the firemen who drove us to school.
