Labor Day Weekend 2010

We were treated to an unforgettable Labor Day Weekend. We lived in the lap of luxury for 3 glorious days in Destin, FL. The Steeds and Pates (and Erin!) played hard, relaxed hard and ate ice cream after the kids were in bed. Wait, was I supposed to tell that part about the ice cream?

I took over 150 pictures, but I am only gonna bore you with 5 or 6. For now, anyway!

My sweet girls, waiting for the Pates to get to the beach.

We donned the typical kacki and white and had lots of beach shots made by a photographer. My favorites were on my own camera, though.

This is the cutest, most polite and well-behaved group of kids EVER, my own included when they feel so inclined (which is typically when they are with the Pates). I love for the girls to hang out with the Pates because their manners always IMPROVE after a visit! I am blessed to have such great nieces and nephews.

This girl LOVES being outside. She spent most of her time in the pool, but she made the most of her time at the beach, too.
Mattie and Wilson were a perfect match for cannon balls and other fun pool stuff.

Did I mention Derick was there? I even have a picture of him reading his book for class. I will share it later! In fact, the pictures of D reading may take the place of last year's pictures of D shoveling snow...

Thanks for the great weekend, Grandaddy and 'Nita.
