Our family has a back-to-school tradition. We go out for dessert on the night before school starts. This year, we chose Bruster's. Caroline had "what grammy and grampy had" (the last time they visited, they took the girls to Bruster's)--a chocolate shake. Mattie had a scoop of Birthday Cake Ice Cream.When the dessert is done, we can begin our school year. Even if it is insanely early!
I am aware that I haven't done any blogging this summer. It has been a fun, busy, hectic, miserable summer all rolled into one. Our move did not go well, but we love our house. It is great being so near family and we've had fun visiting and being visited. I will randomly post some pictures from the summer throughout the next few weeks!
