WARNING: This post has a picture of my neck right after surgery, so don't look if you are squeamish!!
WOW! The last few weeks have been crammed FULL of stuff. My parents arrived for a working visit (meaning they had lots of babysitting time) on March 23. On the 24th, D and I went to the Black Eyed Peas concert in KCMO with friends. AWESOME. We had a blast. Here's a pic...
Then there was the build up to Easter and Caroline's school party...
Check out that awesome shirt made by Aunt Tara and provided by Grammy and Grampy. Here we are at C's school egg hunt...

Mattie started violin lessons while Grammy and Grampy were here! We finally convinced her to give us a demo...
And Easter Sunday...it was a beautiful day, so we are all squinting into the sun. Who's complaining??
The obligatory Easter dress pic...they were so beautiful, despite dual meltdowns over new shoes...
And finally, I had surgery to remove part of my birthmark on the Friday morning before Easter. This pic is two days after the surgery. It is nine days later and I feel GREAT. The lab work came back all clear and most of my birthmark is gone!
Caroline and I also enjoyed seeing some points of historical interest with mom and dad. We visited Jessie James' family farm, the first bank robbed by Jessie's gang and the WW1 Museum. That was fun, too!

oh my, that neck surgery looks brutal but I am glad oyu are doing good. Carolines looks precious in her bunny shirt.
