When it comes to fashion, Caroline is all girl. She likes to be in charge of her outfits and she is pretty right-on when it comes to matching her shirts and pants. So it didn't surprise me when she put together her own outfit for wacky day at school...Wacky Wednesday, to be exact, in honor of Dr. Suess's birthday.
Mattie, on the other hand, could care less about fashion. Her friend talked her into wearing a dress to the talent show. There was a pretty major meltdown over having to wear Sunday shoes with the dress, but we got the problem reconciled. I was so proud of Mattie. She and her friend wrote a cute poem from a dog's perspective. They each read a page in the school talent show. No stage fright here!
Caroline's school had group picture day today. I can only think of one other person who is this cute (that would be Mattie, of course).
You might wonder if it is warm enough for her spring dress. Well, yes. Today was fairly warm. But she wore a sweater over the dress if that makes you feel better.
