Derick celebrated his birthday on July 10th. He is old. However, in an attempt to keep him feeling young, the girls and I gave him RockBand for our Wii. Our basement is quickly filling with fun and exciting activities!
My parents gave Derick a framed print of one of his favorite restaurants in FL--Pampano Joe's. My mom and dad know the artist, so that makes the picture even more special. We are looking for the perfect display location.
In addition to celebrating Derick's birthday, we attended a pool party with the Air Force element of the CGSC class. Slowly we are all meeting people and beginning friendships. We have made a good decision with our neighborhood. Four of Derick's Air Force classmates live close by. We have also met Army people who have begun to trickle into the area.
